Wednesday, February 27, 2008 Dear Parents: This is a reminder that we will be administering the Stanford Achievement Test during the week of March 3rd. The Stanford is given annually to students in grades 1 - 8. It is not an intelligence test. This type of testing gives us an indication of the progress our students have made so that we can plan the next school year. Please encourage your child to approach this week of testing with a positive attitude. All we ask is that they do their best. We do not, nor should you, expect your child to know all the answers. The students cannot fail this test. Test scores do not affect your child's promotion to the next grade. In order for the students to perform at their best level, we ask that they get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast and be encouraged by Mom and/or Dad on the way to school. Since the third quarter of school is over and this week is aside for testing, the students will not homework. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT ALL STUDENTS ARRIVE AT SCHOOL ON TIME. Once testing has begun, students will not be allowed to enter the classroom until that portion of testing has been completed. If the student arrives late, they will stay in the office until the teacher notifies us that they are between tests. We will do make-up testing in the afternoon in the administrative office. Students in grades 4-8 must bring at least two (2) No.2 pencils. Start: 1:11 pm
End: 1:11 pm
