Boy Scouts and Scouting

(Scout Master-Troop 33; Pack Leader-Pack 33)

Helps to develop boys into good young men. Offers opportunities for community service. Leaders needed for both groups. Supported and encouraged by the parish. Sponsored by the parish since 1945.

Requirements: Pack 33 (1st grade-4th grade); Troop 33 (5th grade-18 years of age).
Time Commitment: Monthly (Monday, 7:30 p.m.)

General Parish News Feb. 3

Today is Scout Sunday. The first Scout Sunday observance took place in 1914 in celebration of the birthday of scouting in the United States. Many churches organized Scout troops to give recognition to the values of Scouting as a resource for churches in their youth ministries.

Office volunteer needed: The Church Office is in need of a part time volunteer receptionist. Duties include; data entry, copying, typing, scheduling, assisting parish members and other duties as assigned. Please call Tony at the Church Office for further information.

Catholic Daughters is having an essay/poetry contest. The contest is open to all students' grades 4 thru 8. The theme of the contest is "Jesus the Light of the World" or "People who Light up my World". For entry forms, rules or more information call 447-6887. Deadline for entry is March 3rd.  Read More »

Boy Scout Bake Sale

St. Ignatius' Boy Scout Troop 33 will hold a bake sale after all the morning Masses on August 5th. Please plan to stop by after Mass for the best in baked goods, a small snack, or a dessert for Sunday dinner.

Special Events This Sunday and Next

WELCOME COFFEE: We will have a complimentary Welcome Coffee in the Family Center after all the morning Masses on Sunday, July 29th. See you there. (Hosted by the Finance Council)
