A parish women's group that provides a multitude of services to the parish while promoting fellowship and community. Sponsors an Arts and Crafts sale, offering a wide variety of hand-crafted items, at the Family Affair as well as at a yearly sale in November.
Requirement: A desire to serve.
Time Commitment: Monthly (3rd Tues., 7:30 pm).

LADIES CLUB: Arts' ‘n' Crafts Workshop will be meeting two times a month beginning this month. We will meet on Wednesday May 14th and May 28th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fr. John Payne House. We have many projects to complete before the Fall Fest on September 27th. We appreciate all who help us reach our goals.

ST. IGNATIUS CHURCH E-TITHING/E-GIVING: St. Ignatius, Martyr, Catholic Church is pleased to announce our new E-giving program. This new service will allow you to set up a reoccurring payment on the day of your choice.
Payments can be set up on a weekly or monthly basis. This is an easy way to keep track of your tax deductible charitable donations. Pax Christi Austin is a member of Pax Christi International, the Catholic peace and justice movement that works and prays to create a world that reflects the peace of Christ. Easter Triduum Festival Choir: The Easter Triduum Festival Choir will begin rehearsals from 7-8p.m. on Wednesdays, starting Wednesday, February 20th. The choir is open to all singers. Ability to read music is a plus, but not required. Singers must be able to carry a tune. We invite you to be a part of this wonderful ministry. Community Ministry News Feb. 17
If you are an Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist who ministers to the home bound, retirement home community and hospital patients, or would like to give of yourself in this ministry please make plans to attend the required training on Wednesday, February 20th at 7:00 p.m. in the Annex Chapel.
This is a wonderful ministry of giving a small amount of your time each week to bring the Holy Eucharist to fellow parishioners. We are in constant need of people who feel called to this ministry.
The February Lector Study Group date and place has been moved for February only to help support the Parish Mission. Lectors will meet on February 19th from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the school library, on the second floor north side of the Family Center. If you're scheduled to proclaim in late February or early March, please come with your reading prepared.

PARISH MISSION IS COMING SOON: From Sunday, February 10th to Wednesday, February 13th, 2008 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the church. Topics: Death, the Big Lie presented on Sunday, February 10th; Making Sense out of Suffering presented on Monday, February 11th; Healing of Painful Memories presented on Tuesday, February 12th; and Releasing your Burdens; presented on Wednesday, February 13th. Plan now to attend.
KNIGHTS of COLUMBUS CASINO NITE: Make plans to attend the annual Knights of Columbus Casino Nite on Saturday, February 2nd, in our Family Center. Tickets are $15 each, and may be purchased from any Knight, or after Mass on 1/19 and 1/27. The advance purchase of a ticket entitles the purchaser to $15,000 of chips, plus a chance to win the door prize of a trip for 2 to Las Vegas. Games available to play will be blackjack, craps, roulette, and poker. There will also be food and drinks available for purchase throughout the evening. Babysitting will be available. Doors will open at 6:00p.m. and the games will begin at 7:00p.m. This is always one of the most fun social events in the parish each year, so plan to attend now.
Catholic Daughters will have a Pre-Super Bowl Bake Sale on January 26-27. Come by after all the Masses to get some delicious homemade goodies.

Ladies Club Thanksgiving Dinner
LADIES CLUB: A Thanksgiving Dinner is planned for our monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 20th, 6:30 p.m. in the Fr. John Payne House. Bring your favorite casserole and/or dessert to complement the traditional turkey and dressing being prepared by one of our outstanding cooks. Join us for a relaxing evening of food, fun and fellowship.

Attention IHN Volunteers: We will be hosting families who are homeless in the Church Annex during the week of December 2nd.
