Pastoral Council: Details
The Pastoral Council consists of the Pastor, Associate Pastor(s) as ex-officio member(s) and ten at-large members. Six at-large members are chosen through a parish discernment process and four are appointed by the Pastor.
The Council meets every month on the third Thursday, for two hours, from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. A working meeting (if necessary) is held at 6:00pm, for one hour prior to the regular meeting. The Council meets in the Patio Room.
All meetings are open to all parishioners. If a non-member wishes to address the Council, he/she may approach any member to ask to be put on the meeting agenda. He/She must have permission from the Chairman and the Pastor.
An agenda is prepared by the chairman, vice chairman, and the pastor, one week prior to the meeting. This agenda will be posted on the bulletin board in the church foyer. The minutes of each meeting will also be posted on the bulletin board and on this site.
