Family Affair News September 23

FAMILY AFFAIR 2007 is just 4 weeks away. Have you done the following?

  1. Sold or purchased the raffle tickets sent to you in the mail, and turned in the cash? PLEASE turn in the cash as soon as possible, and do not wait until the day of the Fair.
  2. Picked-up extra raffle tickets to sell to your relatives, neighbors and co-workers? All they can do is say "no", and most likely they will purchase at least two. Everyone would like to win a cruise to Alaska, and there are Nine (9) other super prizes too.
  3. Turned in the cash for the BBQ meal tickets sent to you in the mail? This delicious meal is cooked on site by our own Men's Club, and will be available from 11:00a.m. until 7:00p.m. on the day of the Fair.
  4. Asked your favorite restaurant or merchant for a gift certificate to use at the Silent Auction? Most will say "yes", but you have to ask first. Contact Tony Ross at the Church Office if you would like a formal solicitation letter from the Church.
  5. Collected to bring 2 liter bottles of soda water, new or slightly used stuffed animals or dolls, egg shells for the confetti egg booth, and bags of small gifts for the Parcel Post Booth to the Church Office? Also, keep growing plants for the Plant Booth. We'll ask for those later.
  6. Ordered your 2007 Family Affair t-shirt? T-SHIRTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY OF THE FAIR. They must be pre-ordered at the Family Affair table on the east side of the church.
  7. Signed-up to work at least one 2-hour shift? Would you believe we still have openings for a number of booths? Sign-up sheets are available at the Family Affair table. We need YOU, and not just the person sitting next to you.
