Provides support to those going through a divorce or have been divorced. Responsed to their spiritual and emotional needs as well as offering help in developing new life skills in financial areas, etc.

South Austin Young Adult Catholics: Join us today, October 14th, at 7p.m. at Westgate Lanes located at Westgate and William Cannon. Bring $$ for shoes, food, and beverages. Bible Study continues on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at San José in Room 1C
in the School building. See you there.

Learn, Grow and Serve by Becoming a Stephen Minister. Do you have gifts for caring, encouragement, and listening? If so, prayerfully consider becoming a Stephen Minister. Stephen Ministers provide emotional and spiritual support to people who are going through a difficult time, such as divorce, grief, unemployment, terminal illness, or loneliness. Stephen Ministry: Jesus calls each one of us to serve him by serving others. Stephen Ministry is one way to serve those in our faith community who need a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on. As one Stephen Minister said, "Stephen Ministry has given me the chance to learn more about myself, my faith and the gifts I have to offer. I've also gained a much deeper appreciation of what it means to care about others." LADIES CLUB: On Tuesday, October 9th, we will meet at the Family Center from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. to price our handmade items that will be available for purchase at the Family Affair. A light meal will be served before we begin.

LADIES CLUB: Arts ‘n' Crafts Workshop will meet on Wednesday, October 10th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fr. John Payne House. Lunch will be served!

Community Ministries This Week (September 16)

Personal Prayer Introductory Workshop seven one hour sessions, weekly, begins Monday, September 24th. Do you hear others talk positively about their experiences in prayer and wonder, "What's wrong with me?" Spend time with others acting on a shared intention to begin, maintain, enrich your personal prayer practice. See flyers available in distribution racks for more information. Also listen for pulpit announcements.

Do you love to sing or play an instrument? Then join the music ministry by participating in the parish wide talent search for new musicians for "The Knot" LifeTeen Youth Praise Band that plays at the 5p.m. Mass every Sunday. The "GOD SEEKERS' will hold their meeting on Saturday, September 22nd in the Annex from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. We will begin to work our way to St. John of the Cross, the Mystical Doctor, very cautiously. We will begin with his 'the Mystical Ladder of Love'. Please visit our table at the Ministry Fair.
