Isaac Garcia is a native Austinite and Catholic. Inspired by his involvement in his youth group in middle and high school, he studied theology at the University of Notre Dame on the undergraduate and graduate level, making him a “Double Domer.”
After three years at his first church ministry position helping prepare children for sacraments as a DRE in Vienna, VA, Isaac took a seven-year hiatus from parish ministry to explore his other passion: online communication.
He began working at St. Ignatius in June, 2020, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the hope to use all that he’s learned in his past jobs to help St. Ignatius and South Austin better encounter Jesus Christ.
Isaac lives in Austin with his wife, two daughters, and a cat named Q (after Star Trek's Q).
