The Prison Ministry provides one-on-one visitation to the incarcerated, as well as re-entry support for those re-entering society. This ministry introduces gospel values into the lives of those incarcerated and their families in an attempt to break the cycle of recidivism.
In addition, the ministry provides Project Hope Bags to the homeless, and other support and service referrals to different organization for help.
On scheduled days of execution, interested persons of the parish gather to pray the "Rosary for Mercy" in front of the church at 6:00pm.
Other activities include letter writing to inmates at Christmas and Easter, addressing social issues related to fatherless families, mentoring, education, formation, and the abolishment of the death penalty.
