The celebration of the liturgy is central to the life of the St. Ignatius Martyr faith community. It is “the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time, it is the fount from which all the Church’s power flows” (Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, 1963). All who come to worship and pray here at St. Ignatius Martyr are strengthened for service to our community and our world. The Mass is a pivotal experience for this faith community. It is a sacred time set aside for praise, reflection, and ritual. In the liturgy, we are fed and nourished, challenged and supported, formed and renewed, healed and comforted, and then sent forth to make God known, loved, and served by our actions and service to others.
